This past week, our company was able to progress in the making of our ROV whilst reaching out to the community.

While half of the team worked hands-on with the ROV, the rest of the team was able to meet with a local girl scout troop to share the fascinating aspects of underwater robotics. The girls were able to get up and close with past years' ROV and ask questions about what we do and how our ROV works.

The team worked productively and accomplished their goals for the ROV throughout the week by splitting up into their subgroups and focusing on the task at hand. The 3D printing team is finishing up assembling the robot and working with the electrical and camera teams to create a new electronics tray and camera mounts. The electrical team is working on code for the ROV, wiring, and figuring out power for stepper motors while the camera team has potted the cameras and mounts are being printed to hold the cameras. Waterproofing will soon be finalized.
